Enhancing the Pathologist's Productivity of Information

Because of the exposure we had to a single pathologist review and research in the heterogeneity in breast cancer tissue, we’ve been able to identify that patterns exist in the heterogeneity of the disease that may be very significant for determining the prognosis of the patient or their response to different therapies.

As a result, we’ve built a tool that incorporates tissue observation into an advisory capacity for a pathologist to minimize additional work, but enhance the productivity of the information they produce. That has been developed now in breast cancer and we are looking to extend this now into liver and lung cancer.
